How fruitless is the sleep deprivation during medical residency?

Also, is it as hellish as I've heard surrounded by other respects, such as abuse, disrespect and cut-throat competition? I'm decide between dentistry and medicine and the gauntlet of residency will be my decide factor.
It really isn't that big a deal, unless you receive into a really bad situation, and that can transpire in any pace of life. I survived a few rotations of every other night/every other weekend ring up, but these days residencies define work hours to an average of 80 per week, and many limitation shifts to 24 hours. That's really not a problem. Likewise, there are inhabitants who have no anatomical parts except the rectum contained by medicine as within any other place, but they're few and far between, so abuse and disrespect are not the norm. Competition is also not at adjectives normal. Comeraderie is much more the usual, beside everybody pretty well contained by the same boat. There are more super-competitive "gunner" type personality in drug than elsewhere, but they tend to either shape up/grow up or be ostracized, and they're still a minority.
Medicine and Dentistry are so differant using the hours you go and get to sleep is a little silly.
Here contained by the UK, pre-reg doctors can sometimes work 72 hours flat but its rare.
Its best you the staff at your med university for advice.
the medical level is a bit tougher but worth the payout
medicine and vigour guarantee correctness , is for informational purposes only suggestion or treatment for any medical conditions.
